All Professional Screen Separator Machines for Repair

TBK's Screen Separator collection covers every professional repair method. Each machine type is designed for a specific task—from opening the device to separating the glass.

  • Automatic Separators: Use heat and an automated lifting system to remove the entire screen assembly from the phone's frame.

  • LCD Separators (Manual): Use heat and vacuum to hold an assembly, allowing technicians to manually separate broken glass from the LCD panel.

  • Freeze Separators: Use ultra-low temperatures to freeze adhesive for a clean, high-success-rate glass-only separation.

  • LCD Heating Pads: Use consistent, even heat to soften adhesive, making it safe to manually open a device for any repair.

  • Heat-Free Tools: Use manual clamps to open a device without heat.

Quick Selection Guide: Find Your Tool

Our Separation Technologies

1
Automatic Screen Separators
These are 'disassembly' machines designed to open the device. They use automated, constant-temperature heating and a controlled jacking or frame-clamping system to safely lift the entire screen assembly (or back cover) away from the phone's frame. This method eliminates the need for manual prying and protects internal components.
2
LCD Screen Separators (Manual)
) These are 'glass removal' workstations. They are used after the screen assembly is out of the phone. These machines use a heated metal plate and powerful vacuum suction to secure the assembly, allowing a technician to use a separation wire to manually cut the broken glass away from the underlying LCD/OLED panel.
3
Ultra-Low Temperature Freeze Separators
These are professional tools for safe and efficient screen removal. They use refrigeration technology to reach ultra-low temperatures, freezing the adhesive. This rapid process allows for a clean separation of the glass from the LCD/OLED panel on flat and curved screens with a 99.99% success rate, all without liquid nitrogen.
4
LCD Heating Pads & Stations
These are 'preparation' tools for manual disassembly. They are soft silicone mats that provide gentle, evenly-distributed heat to an entire device. This process uniformly softens stubborn adhesive, making it significantly safer and easier to manually pry open a device for any type of repair, from battery replacements to screen swaps.
5
Heat-Free Phone Screen Removal Tools
These are manual fixtures that offer a reliable, cost-effective alternative to heat. They use screw tension and powerful suction to give a technician tactile control, safely lifting the screen without any risk of overheating components.

FAQ About Screen Separator Machines

1
What's the main difference between a heated separator and a freeze separator?
They are based on two completely different technologies: Heated Separator: Uses heat and vacuum suction to soften the adhesive. It's a mature, cost-effective technology that is versatile and well-suited for most LCD screens and standard repair scenarios. Freeze Separator: Uses ultra-low temperatures (around -180°C) to make the adhesive instantly brittle, causing a physical separation. It has an extremely high success rate (especially for curved screens), a fast process, and a low risk of damage, making it the premium choice for high-value OLED screens and complex repairs.
2
How should I choose the right machine for my repair shop?
You can decide based on your primary business focus: Choose a Heated Separator if your work is diverse, handling many different brands and models, or if you are just starting and need a cost-effective, multi-functional machine. Choose a Freeze Separator if your business specializes in high-end phone repair (especially curved screens from brands like Samsung, Huawei, etc.), or if you prioritize the highest possible success rate and efficiency.
3
Can these machines handle curved screens?
Yes, but with different results. Freeze Separators are currently the ideal method on the market for handling curved screens with the highest success rate, minimizing the risk of damage to the flexible OLED panel. Manual Heated Separators can also be used for curved screens, but it heavily relies on the technician's skill and experience, and there is a higher operational risk.
4
Is the ultra-low temperature freeze separator safe? Does it require liquid nitrogen?
It is very safe, and it does not require any liquid nitrogen. Our freeze separators use a built-in compressor refrigeration system, similar to a freezer. The entire process is contained in a closed, controlled environment. Compared to the traditional method that requires handling and storing hazardous liquid nitrogen, it is significantly safer, more stable, and easier to operate.
5
How long does a complete screen separation process take?
The time varies by technology: Heated Separator: Including pre-heating and the manual separation, the entire process usually takes between 5 to 10 minutes, depending on the screen's complexity and the technician's skill. Freeze Separator: This includes a cool-down period and the separation itself. It typically takes 10-20 minutes for the machine to reach its operating temperature (depending on the model), but once it does, the actual separation is nearly instantaneous.
6
What is the difference between "Opening a Device" and "Separating Glass"?
These are two different repair stages. Opening a Device: This means removing the entire screen assembly from the phone's frame. You would use an Automatic Separator, Heating Pad (for manual pry), or Heat-Free Tool. Separating Glass: This is what you do after the screen is out. It means removing the broken glass from the LCD/OLED panel. For this, you use an LCD Separator (with wire) or a Freeze Separator.
7
For glass removal, should I use a heated or a freeze separator?
It's a choice of method. A Heated Separator (like the TBK-988) softens the glue so you can cut it with a wire. It's a cost-effective and standard method. A Freeze Separator freezes the glue, making it brittle so it "pops" or lifts off. This is faster, has a higher success rate (99.99%), and is considered safer for delicate curved OLED screens.
8
For opening a phone, which tool is best?
It depends on your needs. An Automatic Separator (like the TBK-288) is fastest and automated. An LCD Heating Pad is the standard, safe method for preparing for a manual opening. A Heat-Free Tool (like the TBK-202) is the most cost-effective manual option and has zero risk of heat damage.
